Tell Sen. Martin a woman is a person, not a "host"

In response to a Valentine's Day card from the Virginia Pro-Choice Coalition, State Senator Steve Martin ranted that a pregnant woman is just a "host (some refer to them as mothers)" and shouldn't have the right to end a pregnancy. Tell Senator Martin women are people, not "hosts" and have all the rights that go along with it.

Dear Senator Martin,

I was deeply offended by your remarks on Facebook that a pregnant woman is nothing more than a "host." A pregnancy does not end a woman's rights to make decisions about her own body. Please apologize for your ill-thought comments and focus on coming together to support policies that prevent unintended pregnancies.
